In 2012, I designed and art directed Condé Nast Traveler's “Best of Mexico” iPad app, a partnership between the Mexico Tourism Board and Conde Nast. The app represented a collection of all articles & photography on Mexico that the magazine had published up until that point.
Under the guidance of the Design Director, I led and managed a team of designers to produce an interactive app containing 23 articles, 76 hotel listings, and restaurant reviews. The content was supplemented with color illustrations by Peter Oumanski and infographics by the magazine's in-house graphics team.
My additional responsibilities included: Storyboarding, commissioning illustrations, editing images, building interactive maps and photo slideshows, embedding videos, QA'ing final builds, and delegating design assignments.
